SDP Stari Grad presented the "20 for 2020" program

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Municipal organization of SDP Stari Grad Sarajevo tonight presented the election program "20 for 2020" at the Program Convention held at Žuta tabija, which includes 20 projects they will implement in the next four years.

The holder of the SDP candidate list in Stari Grad, Malik Garibija, pointed out in his address to those present that these are 20 achievable and measurable projects that address 20 key problems, challenges, opportunities, and obstacles to the socio-economic development of Stari Grad.

"To build a country, one must have a vision, a plan, and people ready for the challenge. In the Government of Sarajevo Canton, we showed how our country can move forward when we have a program and know what we want to do and how. Now we are dedicated to the local community and our Stari Grad, with the same passion and the same desire for the benefit of every person. The central motive of our program is not buildings or increased profits for the rich, but the quality of life and the well-being of every person: workers, pensioners, students, mothers, fathers, children, grandmothers and grandfathers, people from our neighborhood," said Garibija.

Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, the candidate for the mayor of Stari Grad municipality, who is the joint candidate of the Four (NIP, SDP, Our Party, and NBL) in the upcoming local elections, also addressed the gathering tonight.

The president of OO SDP Stari Grad and current councilor in the Municipal Council, Muamer Mekić, emphasized that he expects a victory for the coalition for mayor, winning a majority in the Municipal Council, and a majority of councilors for the City Council of Sarajevo, which elects the mayor.

The election program "20 for 2020" was created after talking with 10,000 citizens of this municipality in the field over the past few months.
