SDP: Burning of Martina Mlinarević effigy is an outburst of hatred orchestrated by HDZ BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Social Democratic Party of BiH strongly condemns the folkloric outbursts of hatred orchestrated by HDZ BiH, depicted in the carnival burning of effigies with the likenesses of "undesirable" Croats.

"Now it is the turn of the writer and ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Czech Republic, Martina Mlinarević. If they truly wish to ward off evil fate and invoke success and happiness by symbolically burning the causes of their misfortune, we believe it would be much more appropriate for the Mostar 'jokers' to have symbolically burned effigies representing the managers of Aluminij and their political mentors. We remind that these people caused misfortune to thousands of former workers of this company," they state from the Social Democratic Party of BiH in a press release.

In this way, they add, it is shown that the carnival organizers are actually real puppets on a string controlled by HDZ BiH and the leadership of this party.

"These are precisely the culprits who, even without masks, have so far managed to "burn" tens of millions of public money from the city budget, hundreds of companies, thousands of jobs, and the future of tens of thousands of citizens of Mostar and Herzegovina. Those people, the citizens, are neither in the mood for laughter nor jokes while in much sadder processions they wait in lines at bus stations buying one-way tickets to Germany, Austria, and other European countries. They go where their fates are not the subject of jokes and manipulation by frivolous and arrogant quasi-politicians, who have amassed millions in wealth by profiting from the 'burning' of the people they declaratively swear by," the statement said.

They call on the citizens of Mostar and Bosnia and Herzegovina to join the SDP BiH to jointly oppose the madness of ethnocratic elites, which, unfortunately, is an indispensable part of the pre-election folklore in our country.

"Only together can we stop the departure of our children and put an end to the mockery and ridicule of our lives and our common future," conclude from the SDP BiH.
