SDP: With the "four" parties, we will have one common candidate for mayors in KS

(Patria) - Regarding certain speculations that have appeared in the public, related to eventual candidacies for mayoral positions, SDP BiH has made a statement wishing to clarify several facts.

"In SDP throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, candidates are being registered in accordance with our Candidacy Regulations, however, this in no way prejudges the final proposal that must also be confirmed by the SDP BiH personnel commission.

In Sarajevo Canton, we are fully committed to continuing cooperation with the "four" parties and to having one common candidate for mayor, about which we will negotiate with our political partners," stated SDP.

The councilor of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the Municipal Council Centar Sarajevo, Denis Challenger, confirmed on his Facebook profile that he is among the proposed candidates for mayor.

"It is true that SDP Centar proposed me as a candidate for the mayor of the Municipality Centar Sarajevo, but it is also my and our common wish and effort to act as a bloc and reclaim the Municipality Centar. We do not want the scenario from 2016. Together!" Challenger wrote on Facebook.
