SDP: Denying internationally rendered legal decisions is a continuation of HDZ BiH's retrograde policy

(Patria) - The Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina has condemned, as they stated, the "positions of the so-called Croatian National Assembly which, among other things, deny and reject final judgments of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague."

"The rejection of judgments for the joint criminal enterprise rendered before the international court represents a historical precedent," stated the SDP BiH.

The political party believes that this way of denying internationally rendered legal decisions is merely a continuation of the HDZ's retrograde policy, which holds the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina hostage to its incorrect interpretations of the Constitution and the Election Law of BiH, thereby blocking any progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina towards creating a state of law and a better life for all citizens.

"Unfortunately, the political allies of HDZ BiH continue to turn a blind eye to such radical conclusions, all for the sake of the fastest possible distribution of electoral spoils and the seizure of key levers of power. The SDP BiH believes that all those who participate in promoting and advocating for such a policy cannot be a credible partner for any reforms in Bosnia and Herzegovina in any way," stated the SDP.

"The policy advocated by HDZ BiH must be rejected and defeated so that Bosnia and Herzegovina can continue its path towards NATO and the EU. Such a policy is contrary to the fundamental values on which NATO and the European Union are based, and that, after the open denial of the Hague verdicts, is perhaps quite clear," the SDP's reaction reads.
