SDP will not block the establishment, but will not join the government either

At today's session of the Presidency of the Social Democratic Party of BiH, the members of the Presidency once again clearly reiterated the position that SDP BiH cadres will not form the executive government in the Federation of BiH and will not propose their candidate for vice-president of the larger BiH entity, reports the Patria News Agency.

The session stated that SDP BiH is aware of its position, but is even more aware of the position of the parties forming the new parliamentary majority, so it is expected that these parties will take full responsibility and admit that they are unable to form a government in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the FBiH.

However, SDP BiH is a responsible party that will not allow the formation of government to be blocked and will, in accordance with the decisions of the party bodies, help in its formation. However, it should be emphasized that SDP BiH, until yesterday, had not received any official invitation to try to find a solution that would unblock the process of establishing government.

The first official invitation resulted in today's meeting of the leaders of SDP BiH, SDA, and DF, and the results of that meeting will be presented and considered by the members of the Main Board of SDP BiH at the session on January 31 in Tuzla, which will make a definitive decision on the formation of government in FBiH.
