SDP: Miladin is no longer our member, SDA succeeded in electing the Mayor of Sarajevo by buying councillors

After councillor from Stari Grad Almedin Miladin voted today for the appointment of Abdulah Skaka as Mayor of Sarajevo, the SDP BiH announced that Miladin is no longer their member. The SDP statement is transmitted in full by the Patria news agency. 

Sarajevo today got a new city government which is the result of classic corruption. The SDA succeeded in electing the mayor and other officials of the City of Sarajevo by buying defectors from other parties.

Unfortunately, this continues the erosion of citizens' trust in politics because, regardless of their will, the SDA always has enough ways to buy itself a majority.

It will be interesting to follow the further business ventures of the latest defectors and the sudden increase in their asset declarations. We hope that the competent prosecutor's offices will finally start doing that as well.

As for councillor Almedin Miladin, who today voted contrary to the party's position for the election of the SDA mayor, as of today he is no longer a member of the SDP, and the procedure for verifying the decision follows.
