SDP and DF Request Extraordinary Session of the FBiH Parliament: Government Must Explain Who FDS Was Sold To

Deputies of DF and SDP in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament are requesting an extraordinary session of the Parliament where the FBiH Government should present data on the sale of state capital in FDS, writes Patria.

The FBiH Government sold its stake in FDS for approximately 42 million KM on Thursday, although the opposition warns that the value of FDS is around 300 million KM.

Furthermore, Fadil Novalić's Government presents that it sold one of the most profitable companies in BiH to the giant BAT, but the real information is that the buyer of FDS is the small Austrian company CID Adriatic - with only one employee.

- In accordance with the provisions of the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, 20 deputies can request a session by their signatures on an issue they consider of great importance for the work of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, as well as for the functioning of the Government in the Federation of BiH. We believe that a discussion about the situation arising from the sale of state capital in the Sarajevo Tobacco Factory is inevitable, because deputies and the public have the right to know more about the actions of the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina – states the letter from DF and SDP, reports Patria.
