SDP BiH: Religious events cannot be used to propagate nationalist policies

The Social Democratic Party of BiH condemns yesterday's incident in which members of the Armed Forces of BiH stood in formation together with members of the Chetnik Ravnogorski Movement during a parade on the occasion of the Epiphany holiday in Banja Luka, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- The position of SDP BiH is that no one should use religious events to propagate failed nationalist policies, and it is especially condemnable that members of the Chetnik Ravnogorski Movement appear in the same place as those who bear the insignia of the state of BiH, which has always been a state for all its citizens, and not only for those who advocate for ethnically pure territories where only members of a single nation will live.

If the announced investigation by the Ministry of Defense of BiH shows that during the protocol of this religious event there were omissions that led to this incident, SDP BiH demands from this ministry that the actors of this event be adequately punished, so that such situations do not occur again in the future.
