SDP BiH calls on all citizens to boycott unconstitutional referendum

The Presidency of the Social Democratic Party of BiH calls on citizens of BiH not to participate in the unconstitutional referendum in the entity of Republika Srpska. 

The party announced that the presidency assessed that any support for this unconstitutional undertaking contributes to the undermining of the legal order of BiH and the endangerment of all its citizens.

- All public officials are called upon to withdraw their support for the unconstitutional referendum and to refrain from participating in its organization. This particularly applies to officials who hold positions in the institutions of BiH, who have taken an oath to protect the Constitution of BiH and the constitutional order of the state – it was announced from the SDP.

The Presidency of SDP BiH warns that any contribution or participation in the preparation and implementation of the unconstitutional referendum constitutes a criminal offense.

- It was also concluded that nationalist parties are responsible for the newly created system crisis and the undermining of the social order, as they persistently ignore and violate the rulings of the highest domestic and international judicial instances and strive for the final division of BiH along ethnic lines – the SDP states. 

The Presidency of SDP BiH, as further stated in the party's announcement, welcomed the latest efforts initiated by SDP BiH itself in the field of future joint action of left-oriented, state-building civic parties in BiH, reports NAP.
