SDP BiH: RS MoI showed its powerlessness, who fears the affirmation and strengthening of BiH

(Patria) - Regarding the decision of the Banja Luka Police Administration of the RS MoI to prohibit the holding of a rally organized by the City Committee of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina (SDP BiH) Banja Luka on the occasion of the celebration of the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, SDP BiH emphasizes that it will never give up promoting Bosnian-Herzegovinian statehood on every inch of our country.

"The RS MoI, by its own admission that it cannot guarantee the safety of the participants of the announced ceremonial academy, once again confirms its powerlessness to guarantee fundamental rights to citizens in accordance with the Constitution and laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The same applies to the rally in Mrkonjić Grad, the prohibition of which represents an additional shame for the institutions in this part of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We emphasize that Bosnia and Herzegovina is the state of all its people, no matter how much certain political structures and powerful individuals fear its strengthening and affirmation. The fear of certain centers of power of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its achievements of plurality, equality, and togetherness is only proof that Bosnia and Herzegovina is indeed a present and undeniable life and legal fact. The use of certain associations, henchmen of the ruling structures, to justify the prohibition of celebrating Statehood Day, is only a confirmation of the hypocrisy of those who hide behind their so-called. non-governmental satellites.

The prohibition of the ceremonial academy will only further strengthen our determination and commitment to show that the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina throughout our homeland want to live in peace in their homeland, which belongs to all of us equally. Attempts by destructive political elites to alienate the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina from their age-old homeland are doomed to failure. This is also proven by the prohibition of the ceremonial academy, which would once again show that Bosnia and Herzegovina lives in all our regions and among all our people, which is what those who persistently try to convince the public of the opposite, apparently, fear the most.

SDP BiH, together with all its partners, will continue to advocate and work continuously and with increasing intensity on strengthening and developing Bosnia and Herzegovina as a modern European democratic state in which the government does not fear different opinions and voices, but cherishes diversity of opinions of all kinds as its wealth and as proof of the self-confidence of the system's institutions in their own capacities and possibilities of preserving public order and peace," stated the SDP.
