SDP BiH: The measure of the Sarajevo Canton Government should not begin implementation on Catholic Christmas

The Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina calls on the Sarajevo Canton Government to immediately postpone, until Monday, December 26, the decision to reduce air pollution by restricting vehicle use according to the odd-even system, it was announced, Patria reports.

Although air pollution has been ongoing for more than seven days, and the Sarajevo Canton Government has not reacted more seriously until today, we believe there is no need for this decision to begin implementation on Sunday, December 25, for Catholic Christmas, and that its implementation can be postponed by one day.

The Sarajevo Canton Government should as soon as possible adopt other measures to reduce air pollution, because it is obvious that cars are not the only and main cause of air pollution, which means this is a problem that requires a more serious approach, not short-term and questionable solutions.
