(Patria) - The Central Election Commission of BiH fined the Social Democratic Party of BiH 10,000 KM due to a post by its president and federal prime minister, Nermin Nikšić.
The Coalition Under the Magnifying Glass reported Nikšić to the CEC for violating Article 7.2a paragraph (2) point a) and Article 7.1 of the Election Law of BiH by publishing on his official Facebook page that the Government had adopted a Decree on the payment of aid to workers, and by placing the SDP logo on the photos.
"In this way, the Government's success was presented as the SDP's success, and thus resources were abused, while at the same time the prime minister's position was abused for the promotion of the political entity to which he belongs," it was stated at the CEC session.
Given the date of the photo publication, this constitutes an early election campaign.
This decision was adopted unanimously.
See Nikšić's post in the attachment.
