SDA 'declares war' on the trio: Continue preparing your election campaign from the shade

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Although only two days ago the SDA called for a joint response from the pro-Bosnian bloc, and at the current political moment when amendments to the BiH Election Law are being discussed, it seems that unity will not be achieved after all. 

If today's statement from the SDA is any indication, it is a kind of reaction to the joint statement of the SDP, NiP and Our Party, in which they accuse the SDA of bearing a significant share of responsibility for the current situation and blockades.

As the SDA stated, this response showed that these parties are in no way able to rise above transparent politicking.

"By attempting to equate the guilt of those who attack the state with those of us who oppose them, they are evidently seeking to score daily political points. The goal is to avoid standing together with the SDA in defense of the state and to continue preparing the election campaign from the comfortable opposition shade," the SDA said.

From this party, they stated that by repeating worn-out spins about the "fourth delegate," "evident crime and corruption," "wrong policy," and other topics that have been chewed over many times in public, they only underscore their immaturity and lack of awareness of the moment the state is in.

"Talking about the 'fourth delegate' in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, which supposedly is crucial for the blockades, only relativizes the responsibility of the SNSD's destructive policy. It is abundantly clear that the SNSD is boycotting the work of the Council of Ministers and the entire Parliamentary Assembly of BiH. Yesterday, because of this, the session of the House of Representatives was not held. After all, for blockades in the House of Peoples, four delegates are not needed; it is enough for three of them from the club of one people not to attend the session," the SDA added.

It is similar with the spins about "wrong policy," the SDA says.

"Just as if the public had forgotten the vote on the Law on Residence - for which the SDP will say they 'did not expect the RS authorities to abuse it' - or the situation during the election of the Mayor of Mostar, when it was precisely a councilor of the 'trio' who decided that the HDZ candidate would be elected, nor the betrayal of the SDP president in Srebrenica, and these days a councilor in Velika Kladuša. The public has not forgotten numerous corruption scandals, various 'rackets,' tractors and tillers, convictions against the cadres of today's 'Trio,' etc.", the SDA points out.

But, they conclude, all these are topics for another occasion and a different time.

"Political rivalry is necessary and desirable. The 'Trio' can be the opposition to the SDA, but they should not be the opposition to the state and its interests at a time when serious attacks on the constitutional-legal order, the integrity of the country, and peace are beginning," the SDA concludes.
