(Patria) - The marking of January 9, the unconstitutional day of Republika Srpska, and the messages sent from Banja Luka clearly show that Dodik's regime, with the support of official Belgrade, is not giving up on secessionist policies and continuous attacks on the constitutional and legal order of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the SDA announced this evening.
"The authorities of the Republika Srpska entity have continued to directly violate the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH, which declared the marking of January 9 as the day of Republika Srpska unconstitutional.
According to Article 239 of the Criminal Code of BiH - 'an official or responsible person who does not apply, implement, execute or otherwise respect a final and binding decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH... or who prevents or otherwise obstructs the application, implementation or execution of such a decision, shall be punished with imprisonment from six months to five years', with a ban on performing official duties in legislative, executive, judicial, administrative or any body that is wholly or partially financed from public funds.
The law is completely clear. Therefore, it is high time that the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina finally starts doing its job and prosecutes those responsible.
Otherwise, as in the case of the scandalous decision not to prosecute the erection of a plaque to war criminal Ratko Mladić, the BiH Prosecutor's Office will turn into an accomplice and an extended arm of Dodik's policy.
If the BiH Prosecutor's Office continues to avoid applying the law, we request that the HJPC, i.e., the Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office, initiate disciplinary proceedings against the chief prosecutor and dismiss him from duty," the SDA stated.
