SDA: Trojka saves Dodik from sanctions, delivers everything he has set out

(Patria) - The meeting of the Trojka, SNSD and HDZ, held last night in Sarajevo, is another in a series of deceptions of the public, the only result of which is an attempt to save Milorad Dodik from sanctions, according to the Party of Democratic Action (SDA).

"The Trojka, which has been creating a false narrative about a 'changed Dodik' and 'relaxation of relations' all along, last night once again extended a helping hand to him by creating the illusion of his 'cooperativeness'.

Thus began the implementation of the dangerous scenario that the SDA had warned about earlier - that the Trojka would pay for Dodik's false cooperativeness and temporary de-escalation of the situation with irreparable concessions to the detriment of the state," the SDA said.

They note that we have seen a similar scenario before, when the SDP was on the other side of the negotiating table with Dodik, with the most drastic examples being the adoption of the harmful Law on Residence or the withdrawal of foreign prosecutors and judges from the BiH judiciary at the SNSD's behest.

"This time, instead of being in the dock and under EU sanctions, Dodik has returned to the negotiating table as the dominant actor. He has not abandoned any of the anti-state moves he made in the previous period, nor did the Trojka ask him to.

Instead, as in several previous cases, the public is being deceived with statements about 'historic agreements' and 'achieved success on the EU path', and Dodik will obviously be granted new concessions," the SDA statement reads.

It is emphasized that last night the thesis about a "harmonized set of European laws" was triumphantly floated to the public, even though the meeting participants themselves were unable to say which laws were in question.

"The public is also deprived of information about the text in which the laws will be adopted - as required by the EU, or with SNSD amendments, which essentially go to the detriment of the state.

The result of all this could be that Dodik appoints the missing Minister of Finance of BiH, secures the purchase of a building for the needs of the UIO from his godfather at twice the market price, and reduces the pressure of the international community through false cooperativeness," the SDA concludes.
