SDA: The Trojka expects citizens to believe their lies, not their own eyes

(Patria) - The government of Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, in eight years, first resolved the deficit left by Nermin Nikšić, and then improved the situation in the Federation of BiH in all segments, the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) announced today.

"During Novalić's terms, the FBiH budget and the pension fund, which was on its last legs, were stabilized, and GDP and industrial production constantly grew.

The largest public companies operated profitably, import-export coverage was at a record level, and finally, an accumulated surplus of over 530 million was left in the budget for the imposed Nikšić government.

During the eight years of Novalić's mandate, electricity prices did not increase even once, pensions were increased regularly and exceptionally, and the debt did not grow.

At the state level during that period, through the actions of the SDA towards the Constitutional Court of BiH, attacks on the constitutional and legal order were stopped, and our country gained candidate status for the EU and finally became a candidate for full membership in NATO.

The imposed Nikšić government 'succeeded' in eight months of 2023 in spending the entire surplus left by Novalić's government and pushing the FBiH budget into an additional deficit of almost 50 million.

The pension fund is once again in crisis, there are no pension increases, nor will there be any, public companies are operating at a loss and are generating enormous debts.

GDP is three times lower compared to the last two years of Novalić's mandate, industrial production has fallen by 9 percent, and import-export coverage is constantly declining.

Before our eyes, there is a complete standstill on the NATO and EU path, Dodik has not changed as they tried to convince us, and we are living through the most difficult political crisis since Dayton.

Since the Trojka took power, all key economic indicators have been declining, while the prices of electricity, telecommunication services, and food are rising, as is the FBiH debt and the budget deficit.

The salaries of the prime minister and ministers, as well as their vehicle fleet, are also increasing. The number of positions they have ceded to SNSD and HDZ is growing, as is the number of unfulfilled promises, such as a minimum wage of 1,000 KM.

In parallel, the amount of nonsensical justifications and lies that the leaders of the Trojka are constantly disseminating to the public is also increasing.

Observing today's press conference, it is clear that the Trojka underestimates the citizens, telling them to believe their lies, deceptions, and justifications more than audit reports, official data, and facts, thus more than their own eyes and increasingly empty wallets," the SDA stated.
