SDA: The Troika must not cede the position of chief negotiator with the EU to Dodik

(Patria) - The Troika's intention to once again succumb to Milorad Dodik's demands and cede him the position of chief negotiator with the European Union is a conscious handover of a new tool for blackmail and an agreement to further complicate the European path, the SDA announced today.

"The Troika must not allow the European future of Bosnia and Herzegovina to be in the hands of those who persistently, through blackmail, blockades, and destruction, halt the path to EU membership.

The chief negotiator does not have to be a Serb from the RS entity, as demanded by SNSD, but a professional who will genuinely work in the interest of the entire country and its European path.

Instead of trading positions, the ruling coalition should finally start working on fulfilling the obligations for opening negotiations with the European Union, and then on appointing a negotiator who will represent the interests of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, not retrograde policies that obstruct its Euro-Atlantic integration," the party announced.
