SDA: Trojka has handed over BiH's European path to Milorad Dodik with a new concession

(Patria) - The leaders of the Trojka parties at the last meeting of the ruling coalition in Banja Luka once again yielded to the demands of Milorad Dodik and left him the position of chief negotiator with the European Union, announced the Party of Democratic Action.

It adds: "With a new concession to Dodik, the Trojka has definitively handed over the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina to destructive policies that persistently obstruct and stall that process.

The ethnic structure of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina in this term, which the members of the ruling coalition referred to, cannot be any basis for the selection of a chief negotiator who will be the main contact point between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union in the long-term negotiation process," the statement said.

"The chief negotiator does not have to be a Serb, and especially does not have to be a cadre of the SNSD, but should be an expert who will work in the interest of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and not of one people, entity or political party.

By repeatedly yielding to Dodik, the Trojka has not only trampled on its own proclaimed principles or given up yet another position in exchange for ministerial chairs for their presidents, but has permanently jeopardized Bosnia and Herzegovina's path to membership in the European Union," conclude the SDA in a public statement.
