SDA Stolac: Points on Spatial Plan removed from Stolac City Council session, the process has been non-transparent from the start!

(Patria) - Councillors of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) in the Stolac City Council have submitted a request to
remove points 2. Decision on the adoption of the Spatial Plan of the City of Stolac for the period 2024–2034, and 3. Decision on the implementation of the Spatial Plan of the City of Stolac for the period 2024–2034 from the agenda of the upcoming session scheduled for August 19, 2025, for the reason that the mandatory consent of the competent ministry was not obtained for the Proposal of the Spatial Plan of the City of Stolac, and we point out that by adopting these acts without the said consent, the Mayor, councillors, as well as the professional service of the City of Stolac would expose themselves to committing a criminal offense.

"The entire process of adopting the Spatial Plan of the City of Stolac for the period 2024-2034 has been conducted completely non-transparently, as evidenced by the fact that the city administration has not responded to numerous objections and proposals submitted to them during the public debate, which raises many questions as to why the Mayor of Stolac, Stjepan Bošković (HDZ BiH), is in a hurry to adopt this plan," stated SDA Stolac.

"We call on the Mayor and the competent city services to align the said proposal with the Spatial Plan of HNK, obtain the legally required consents, accept the proposals of experts and citizens, and only then submit it for procedure in a legal manner. If the said plan were nevertheless adopted as envisioned by Stjepan Bošković, we call on the urban planning and construction inspector of the City of Stolac to, in accordance with Articles 77 and 78 of the Law
on Spatial Planning of HNK, prohibit the implementation of these acts as they are contrary to the valid legislation.

We remind the public and councillors that the Special Department for Combating Corruption, Organized and Inter-Cantonal Crime (POSKOK) is already conducting investigations into similar cases of illegal conduct, and that we will file a criminal complaint with them against all actors due to illegal actions," stated SDA Stolac. .
