SDA Srebrenica: SNSD uses campaign and blocks municipal funds to portray Duraković as incompetent

The Municipal Board of SDA Srebrenica fully supports the efforts of the municipal administration to finally adopt the rebalance of the municipal budget, which has been awaiting approval from the RS entity government and Prime Minister Željka Cvijanović for a month. We believe that the RS Government is consciously obstructing the normal functioning of Srebrenica, all with lies about alleged care for the citizens of our municipality, according to a statement from SDA Srebrenica, reports the Patria News Agency.

-Our goal is not to prove which level of government invests the most in Srebrenica, although the fact that the Federal Ministry for Refugees and Displaced Persons invested 1.6 million KM in our municipality in 2015 alone is a sufficient indicator of how negligible the amount of 2.7 million KM invested by the RS Government in Srebrenica over the past nine years is. It is also clear to us that the RS entity is over-indebted and simply does not have money to help municipalities. However, nothing can justify blocking funds that are already in the municipal account.

We are surprised by the inertia of the SNSD Srebrenica Municipal Board, which is not trying to talk to its party colleague Željka Cvijanović to resolve the rebalance issue as quickly as possible. It is obvious that the SNSD plans to use the controlled stagnation of the municipality to prove the alleged incompetence of Mayor Ćamil Duraković during the campaign.

Although at the opening of the SNSD campaign in Srebrenica, Radomir Pavlović and Milorad Dodik called on Bosniaks to vote for their candidates, all the moves of the SNSD show that this party does not advocate even for citizens of Serbian nationality, but exclusively for its own interests.

SDA will, through its representatives in the bodies of the RS entity, seek to unblock the budget of the Municipality of Srebrenica as soon as possible, the statement reads.
