SDA Srebrenica: It is clear why SDP avoids the story of a joint appearance, they are parading Grujičić through Bosniak settlements

(Patria) - The Municipal Organization of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Srebrenica is appalled by the actions of the local commissioner of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Ahmo Mehmedović and the President of the Municipal Assembly of Srebrenica, Salko Tursunović, they stated in a press release.

As they explain, they are appalled by their "parading" the Mayor of Srebrenica Municipality, Mladen Grujičić, through Bosniak settlements and promoting projects for which the Municipality has not secured a single mark.

They point out that these are projects of the Federal Ministry for Displaced Persons and Refugees.



- In an election year, together with Mladen Grujičić, to promote projects in Bosniak settlements, with a man who expelled all Bosniaks from power, changed street names, announced changes to the name of the city of Srebrenica in order to try to erase all traces of the genocide, can only be done by someone who has accepted all Serbian narratives about the persecution of everything Bosniak in this city - they stated in the press release.

Then they asked if this was a repeat of 2020 when the local SDP was part of the Serbian election campaign.

- Now it is all clear why the local leadership of the SDP is avoiding the story of a joint pro-Bosniak appearance in Srebrenica. The Municipal Organization of SDA Srebrenica is aware of the very difficult political situation in Srebrenica and we are not ready for a compromise in which Bosniaks would be humiliated again.

- Analyzing the course of negotiations so far and the joint appearance of pro-Bosniak political parties in Srebrenica, the OO SDA Srebrenica will nevertheless support the position of all Bosniak organizations and associations of genocide victims to support Hamdija Fejzić as a candidate for mayor in the upcoming local elections - they concluded.
