SDA: SNSD cannot be in power in FBiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - By including parts of the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina in its Defense and National Security Strategy, the Republic of Serbia has dealt another blow to the Dayton Peace Agreement. This is a direct threat to stability in the region, and the SDA demands that the Serbian authorities exclude the part concerning BiH, it was concluded at the SDA Presidency.

"We remind that Serbia is not a guarantor of Dayton, as its officials falsely claim. By signing, Serbia only acknowledged its participation in the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The guarantors of the Dayton Peace Agreement are the great powers led by the USA. Serbia's obligation from the first article of the Dayton Peace Agreement is to 'refrain from any actions against the territorial integrity and political independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina'," the conclusion states.

Other conclusions are:

2. We call for the formation of the Council of Ministers of BiH to be completed by appointing a minister for human rights and refugees. According to the agreement of political parties from April 17, 2019, it was defined that this position must be filled by a non-partisan candidate from the "Others" category, coming from the entity of RS, who would be proposed in consultation with all coalition members. The agreement must be respected.

3. The SDA demands that the newly appointed Council of Ministers of BiH, as well as governments at all levels, urgently undertake reforms and implement infrastructure projects for which funds are already secured, and to fully dedicate their work to improving the general economic situation and the living standards of citizens. The construction of Corridor Vc, and fast and main roads must be significantly accelerated.

4. We support the activities initiated by the Ministry of Security of BiH to strengthen the capacities of the BiH Border Police in response to the migrant crisis.

5. The SDA calls on the members of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council to resign because they have completely lost credibility in domestic and international professional circles, as well as the trust of BiH citizens. The HJPC's report did not receive the support of any deputy or delegate in both houses of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.

6. The SDA welcomes the adoption of amendments to the Law on Salaries and Allowances in the House of Peoples of the BiH PS, which will ensure an increase in salaries for soldiers and non-commissioned officers of the Armed Forces of BiH with the lowest coefficient for salary calculation, who constitute 80 percent of the personnel in the total military structure of professional military persons.

7. The SDA will not support the participation of SNSD in the structure of power in the Federation of BiH. As long as the Vice President of the Federation of BiH has significant powers, and the position of the Vice President of RS is reduced to protocol functions, and as long as there are no ministers from the SDA in the Government of RS, such proposals lack credibility.

8. We call for the urgent completion of the process of forming the government at the level of the Federation of BiH. We reiterate the call to HDZ BiH to propose the President of the Federation without delay, which is a basic condition for forming the new Government of the Federation of BiH. The Election Law is within the jurisdiction of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, and its reform should not be linked to the formation of the FBiH Government.

9. We support the amendment of the structure of the FBiH Government, which includes the establishment of new and merging of existing ministries, in order to improve the functionality of the executive power.

10. The SDA calls for an urgent agreement to be reached that will enable the holding of elections in the City of Mostar this year.

11. The formation of a new parliamentary majority in the Canton of Sarajevo, which expresses the democratic will of the citizens expressed in the last general elections, ensures political stability and enables the overcoming of a year-long stalemate and strong development of the Canton of Sarajevo.
