SDA: Let the competent authorities deal with the recording, we will deal with political responsibility

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Following the release of a recording in which high-ranking SDA cadres lobby for certain candidates and offer services in return, the Party of Democratic Action has also made a statement, from which they say that the Election Assembly of the cantonal organization of SDA Sarajevo was held in accordance with the Statute and Election Rules, so the newly elected Cantonal Executive Board has full legitimacy and legality.

"There were no objections in the regular procedure. The subsequently released recording of the conversation represents an attempt to destabilize the newly elected SDA body. Such a recording, if it existed, should have been presented immediately after its creation or at the assembly itself, submitted to the Party leadership and competent state institutions. The institutions of the state should deal with the content of the recording, its authenticity, the manner and motives of its creation, public distribution, and the eventual responsibility of all actors," the SDA stated.

They added that the SDA bodies will deal with political responsibility and make the necessary decisions about it.

"SDA most sharply condemns all possible irregularities and manipulations, regardless of who committed them," it concluded in the statement.
