SDA: Stop Politicising the Response to the European Commission Questionnaire

SDA supports the drafting and finalisation of the Questionnaire as a key condition for BiH to obtain candidate status for EU membership, the party announced.

- The Questionnaire is an “inventory” of the economic, social, political and legal situation in BiH. The Questionnaire does not legalise, accept or prejudge anything. The answers to the Questionnaire are neither a Constitution nor a law, but a realistic presentation of the current situation, and therefore the politicisation of the questions from the Questionnaire in an attempt to confuse the public and score petty political points must stop. Especially since this is being done by parties that blocked BiH's European path for eight years.

The answers to the Questionnaire cannot diminish the importance of any reform or any activity carried out in BiH in accordance with the Constitution and laws of this country. Thus, the results of the 2013 population census, which was conducted in accordance with the BiH Law and EUROSTAT recommendations, will not be called into question - the SDA claims.
