(Patria) - The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina must dismiss Ambassador to the United Nations Bojan Vujić due to his scandalous anti-state, chauvinistic, and Islamophobic address full of lies at the UN Human Rights Council, the SDA announced.
"Vujić's statement, in which he labels almost the entire Bosniak political scene, as well as representatives of the Islamic Community in BiH, as potential 'Islamic terrorists', and labels our country as 'the most dangerous source of terrorism in Europe', must receive a clear response.
Bosnia and Herzegovina must defend itself against classic Greater Serb nationalist propaganda. Therefore, a decisive reaction from the Presidency, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is necessary.
We have been witnessing statements and lies similar to Vujić's for several decades, since the time of the SANU Memorandum and Šešelj's propaganda before the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina. Vujić's address was certainly written in that kitchen, which, compared to the previous pattern, goes a step further by calling 'Bosniak scholars, clerics, and politicians who represent a moderate democratic facade' as 'potential terrorists'.
Vujić's claim that 'Serbs and Croats are saving Europe from dangerous Bosniaks' is a repeatedly told lie and a reversal of theses. Therefore, it is necessary to repeat the truth every time: it was not the legal BiH Government and the Army of RBiH that were convicted in The Hague for a joint criminal enterprise, but rather the military and political leaderships of Serbia and Croatia and the para-states they tried to establish in Bosnia and Herzegovina were convicted for it.
The legal Government of BiH, led by the Muslim Alija Izetbegović, systematically prevented and punished war crimes, while the governments of the army and paramilitary forces of the self-proclaimed 'protectors of Europe' systematically committed them, including mass ethnic cleansing, concentration camps, and genocide. Therefore, if anyone was 'saving Europe', it was the Bosniaks and Bosnians, not the ideologues and perpetrators of the policy and side to which Vujić belongs.
It was similar in the post-Dayton period. The Bosniak political and religious leadership decisively opposes any form of religious extremism, while the Serb side encourages it, celebrating convicted war criminals and denying and approving committed genocide. Daily chauvinistic insults against Bosniaks and Muslims are the accompanying folklore of the politics represented by Ambassador Vujić.
If there is any security threat in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it can only come from militant Greater Serb policy, returnees from the Ukrainian front, and the revival of the criminal Chetnik ideology.
After such a statement, Vujić must not remain ambassador and undermine his own country from that position, spread lies, Islamophobia, and Greater Serb propaganda, the SDA stated.
