SDA: Judiciary must react more decisively to Dodik's coup attempt

(Patria) - The judiciary must react more decisively to Dodik's coup attempt, the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) announced today.

"The intention to ban the work of the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH, the HJPC, and SIPA in the territory of the entity of RS through unconstitutional laws is a coup attempt.

Therefore, we demand that the Prosecutor's Office and the Court of BiH react more decisively, which is their constitutional and legal obligation.

Dodik is continuously attacking the constitutional and legal order of BiH, and in the last few days alone, he has committed a series of serious criminal offenses that must be prosecuted.

Dodik and his associates must be held accountable for the attack on the constitutional order, for disrespecting the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH, but also for corruption.

There can be no ban on the operation of any BiH institution in any part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, nor can an entity derogate the jurisdiction of state institutions with its laws.

There can be no annulment or amendment of state laws that have been adopted through the prescribed procedures in the BiH Parliament, including with the votes of representatives from RS.

No talks about returning 'to the original Dayton' will happen. The 'original Dayton' does not exist, because the 'original Dayton' includes all its annexes, as well as all laws adopted in recent years and all institutions formed.

The 'original Dayton' is a phrase that Greater Serbian politics uses as an alibi for the realization of the 'All-Serbian Assembly' Declaration, a document that is a roadmap for aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, through intentional misinterpretations of the law.

Although they talk a lot about peace and stability, Dodik's and Vučić's regimes are persistently trying to destabilize the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina with their actions.

After moving the celebration of the Statehood Day of Serbia to Banja Luka, the President of Serbia is going one step further in attacking BiH institutions, directly interfering in the decisions of BiH judiciary.

During the visit of the President of Serbia to Banja Luka yesterday, the public was made to believe that Dodik was abandoning his goals, but instead, today we have an even fiercer attack on BiH institutions, which clearly indicates coordinated activities between Belgrade and Dodik's regime.

The reactions of BiH state institutions to such attacks from Serbia must be more concrete and decisive," the SDA stated.
