SDA calls on the Prosecutor's Office and Court to react decisively and sanction those responsible for endangering the constitutional and legal order of BiH

(Patria) - The Collegium of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) demands that the Prosecutor's Office and Court of BiH react decisively to the latest blow by the authorities of the RS entity to the Dayton Peace Agreement, the BiH Constitution, and valid laws, and to sanction those responsible for endangering the constitutional and legal order of BiH.

"We call on the OHR, the states that are witnesses to the Dayton Peace Agreement, and the PIC to react in accordance with their authorities and obligations, and to prevent secessionist attempts by the authorities of the RS entity.

We also call for an increased presence of EUFOR forces in returnee areas in the RS entity and in the Brčko District in order to prevent an escalation of the situation and provide a sense of security to citizens living in these areas.

The SDA Collegium points to the need to strengthen the capacities of state and federal institutions, especially those responsible for protecting citizens' security and preserving the constitutional and legal order of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The SDA Collegium calls on all relevant political and social actors for a joint, intensified engagement in protecting the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and constitutional and legal order of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and preserving peace and stability.

The SDA Collegium tasks the SDA Caucus in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH to, immediately after the signing of the decree on the entry into force of the unconstitutional laws on the prohibition of the work of the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH, the HJPC and SIPA in the territory of the RS entity and their publication in the Official Gazette of the RS, submit the already prepared appeal to the Constitutional Court of BiH with a request for the determination of a temporary measure," the SDA announced this evening.
