(Patria) - We welcome the verdict of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina by which Milorad Dodik was finally sentenced to one year in prison and six years of ban from holding political office, announced the SDA.
"That is the only correct epilogue and response to the arrogant secessionist policy that Dodik has been pursuing for years, pushing Bosnia and Herzegovina into constant crises and instability.
The institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, starting from the Central Election Commission to police agencies, must now show determination and fully implement the final verdict of the Court of BiH.
They must not back down in the face of new threats from Milorad Dodik. In particular, they must not, as recently happened, negotiate with him and make concessions, as that would be disastrous for the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We demand from the judicial institutions of BiH to show additional determination in other prosecutorial and court cases against Milorad Dodik, and to prosecute the criminal offense of attacking the constitutional order of BiH, as well as cases related to corruption," announced the SDA.
