SDA: Izetbegović's Candidacy for BiH Presidency Confirmed

The SDA Presidency, at today's session, made a decision on candidates and list holders for the upcoming General Elections in BiH. It was announced that the Deputy President of SDA Bakir Izetbegović will be the SDA candidate for the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency.

The SDA candidate for President/Vice-President of the RS entity is Ramiz Salkić. The SDA Presidency adopted candidate lists for the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, the National Assembly of the RS, as well as cantonal assemblies.

The list holders for the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH from the territory of the Federation of BiH are Senad Šepić (constituency 1), Salko Sokolović (constituency 2), Asim Sarajlić (constituency 3), Šefik Džaferović (constituency 4), Amir Fazlić (constituency 5), and Sadik Ahmetović (constituency 3 from the territory of the RS entity), the SDA announced, as reported by Patria.

The list holders for the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH are Sead Kadić (constituency 1), Muhamed Ibrahimović (constituency 2), Tarik Arapčić (constituency 3), Mirsad Kukić (constituency 4), Ibrahim Šišić (constituency 5), Mirza Ganić (constituency 6), Safet Kešo (constituency 7), Salko Selman (constituency 8), Mušić Edin (constituency 9), Denis Zvizdić (constituency 11), and Nermina Zahirović (constituency 12).

The SDA is running for the National Assembly of the RS in all constituencies in a joint campaign with pro-Bosnian political entities that form the coalition "Domovina".

The list holder for the National Assembly of the RS from the SDA for constituency 1 is Senad Bratić, Esed Sejkić (constituency 2), Adil Osmanović (constituency 5), and Samir Bačevac (constituency 6).

A proposal for lists for the Assemblies of Cantons in the Federation was also adopted, with the following list holders:

Una-Sana Canton – Samir Veladžić,

Posavina Canton – Anes Osmanović,

Tuzla Canton – Senad Alić,

Zenica-Doboj Canton – Ibrahim Plančić,

Bosnian-Podrinje Canton - Mustafa Kurtović,

Central Bosnia Canton – Melika Mahmutbegović,

Herzegovina-Neretva Canton – Elvira Dilberović,

Sarajevo Canton – Sabahudin Delalić and

Livno Canton – Jasenko Tufekčić.

This confirms the proposals of the SDA Municipal Board Sarajevo for list holders for the House of Representatives of the PS BiH, the House of Representatives of the PF BiH (constituencies 7 and 11), and the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton, as previously reported by Patria.
