SDA: We are the winners of the elections in Bihać

(Patria) - The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has determined the final results of the Local Elections held on October 6th this year. The City Organization of the Party of Democratic Action Bihać, with 5,164 (27.43%) votes, achieved the best result in the administrative center of the Una-Sana Canton.

Compared to the previous elections held two years ago, SDA Bihać, led by president Šemsudin Dedić, improved its result by 1,177 votes. In comparison to the Local Elections held in November 2020, the party improved its result by a total of 86 votes. In terms of the number of mandates, the Party of Democratic Action increased its representation by one mandate in the City Council, from eight to nine mandates.

The policy of GO SDA Bihać in the City Council of Bihać for the mandate period 2024-2028 will be represented by many new faces, as well as some current councilors who have once again earned the trust of the citizens of Bihać. SDA's candidate for the City Council of Bihać, Mustafa Zulić, won the most votes of all candidates in the City of Bihać, with 1,116 votes, while Fikret Bosnić is in second place with an excellent 942 votes, considering that Bosnić was a candidate for our city's City Council for the first time. Compared to candidates from some other political entities holding executive and legislative functions, Messrs. Zulić, Bosnić, as well as other candidates from SDA, achieved a truly respectable and excellent result.

Ultimately, GO SDA Bihać achieved the best result in the City of Bihać and will have the largest number of councilors in the mandate period 2024-2028, a total of nine, along with the second-placed POMAK. Other political entities will also participate in the City Council: SDP with four, NES with three, NiP and SBiH with two each, as well as Možemo bolje with one councilor.
