SDA to decide: Bučo or Konaković for Sarajevo Canton Government mandate holder

The Party of Democratic Action has scheduled a session for Friday at 3 PM to discuss the name of the mandate holder for the Sarajevo Canton Government, a source from the top of this party confirmed to the Patria News Agency.

The names in circulation for the mandate holder of the Sarajevo Canton Government are Jasmin Bučo, one of the executive directors at JP Autoceste FBiH, and Elvedin Konaković, head of the SDA caucus in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly.

The SDA session's proposal should also be confirmed at a session of the SDA Presidency. We unofficially learned that a meeting could be held this evening to discuss the proposed names for the mandate holder.

On the other hand, until SDA comes up with a candidate proposal for this position, the session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly will not continue, Sejo Bukva (DF), deputy speaker of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, confirmed to Patria, referring to Sabahudin Delalić (SDA).

At the next session, Bukva will take over the position of speaker, given that the mandate holder and the speaker of the Assembly cannot be from the same constituent nation.

We remind you that at the last session on January 6, two out of four members of the Assembly leadership were elected because the Croat and Serb caucuses did not have proposals.
