SDA Responds to Zvizdić: Address Your Populist Initiatives with SNSD and HDZ Partners or Resign

(Patria) - The Trojka, along with coalition partners SNSD and HDZ, has led BiH into the most difficult post-Dayton crisis. In their desire for power, they agreed to be Dodik and Čović's "Bosniak representation" and their "contractors", convincing the public that they are "new negotiators who will know how to deal with Dodik and Čović", that SDA is to blame because Dodik is attacking BiH because he "didn't know how to deal with him", that "Dodik has changed", that we are rapidly progressing on the European path, that they have done more in a year than their predecessors in 10, etc., according to SDA's reaction.

"When all concessions were made and everything ended in failure and blockades, and public resistance to their policies became enormous, they decided to 'remove Dodik from power'. Since the elections are no longer that far away, they are also starting to quarrel with the HDZ. They claim that the state coalition has fallen apart, but everyone is still firmly holding onto their positions.

In this context, Denis Zvizdić's call for SDA to support his vague populist initiatives and unachievable proposals for the reconstruction of government at the state level, which do not resolve the political crisis but further complicate it, was made. This is a desire to keep their positions and ensure some sort of political initiative before the next elections.

SDA will support all dismissals of current government officials because they all deserve to be dismissed, but will not participate in appointments. That is the responsibility of the Trojka-SNSD-HDZ coalition, which, despite public quarrels, still forms the government at the state level. Therefore, Zvizdić should arrange appointments with his coalition partners, not seek help from the opposition by wrapping it up populistically in the cellophane of state-building policy.

It was irresponsible and not state-building to remove the largest pro-Bosnian and Bosniak party from power at any cost, and Zvizdić enthusiastically participated in it. Now, instead of taking responsibility, he is trying to preserve his own position and political career with the help of SDA.

The public has witnessed statements such as the one made by Nermin Nikšić, that "Čović and Dodik are ready to work and cooperate in the interest of the state", and that if this does not happen, Trojka will apologize to the citizens and withdraw.

It is time for Trojka to fulfill its promise, and Zvizdić can be the first to do so as an example to others," stated SDA.
