SDA: Parts of the Reform Agenda referring to respect for decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH cannot be removed

(Patria) - The SDA Collegium supported the position of the premiers of four cantons (TK, ZDK, USK and SBK) to give conditional consent to the text of the Draft Reform Agenda, which needs to be forwarded to the European Commission for further procedure.

"We believe that the Draft Reform Agenda should be harmonised and forwarded to the European Commission as soon as possible, but that parts of the document referring to respect for decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH cannot be removed.

We consider it unacceptable that the term 'state' be deleted from the entire document, that state institutions as bearers of activities be replaced by entity ones, that entity and ethnic veto be introduced in decision-making where it did not exist before, and that the list of indicative projects to be financed mainly includes projects from the RS entity and cantons with a Croat majority, while cantons with a Bosniak majority are neglected.

Yielding to ultimatums from the RS entity cannot produce a reform programme needed by Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens," the SDA stated.
