SDA: Imposition is the only possible scenario after obstructions by the ruling coalition

(Patria) - The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) welcomed the decision of High Representative Christian Schmidt to impose technical amendments to the Election Law of BiH.

"These amendments will ensure fairer and more transparent elections, and prevent the majority of abuses at polling stations.

The imposition of amendments to the Election Law of BiH by the High Representative was the only possible scenario after the ruling coalition of SNSD, HDZ, and Trojka obstructed and practically rejected its adoption in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

This showed who is not interested in fair and honest elections.

Schmidt imposed amendments to the Election Law of BiH!

(Patria) - High Representative Christian Schmidt used his Bonn powers and today imposed amendments to the Election Law of BiH concerning the integrity of the election process. He announced this information at a press conference in Sarajevo, stating that

We express regret that Trojka, SNSD, and HDZ did not support the amendments to the Election Law previously proposed by the SDA, as this would have avoided the reaction of the High Representative, and the integrity of the election process would have been resolved in a more comprehensive manner.

We particularly welcome the part of the decision prohibiting convicted war criminals from running in elections", the SDA announced.
