SDA: The crisis caused by Dodik will harm him and the RS

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The secession threats made by Milorad Dodik in Belgrade in the presence of the patriarch of the SPC and the president of Serbia once again passed without a clear and unambiguous distancing of official Belgrade from the policy directed against Bosnia and Herzegovina, which speaks volumes, the SDA announced.

"If Serbia, as its president claims, truly respects the Dayton Peace Agreement, the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, then it is high time for Vučić to move from words to deeds. This implies concretely, clearly and unambiguously withholding support for Dodik's policy, which is not only a threat to Bosnia and Herzegovina but also to peace and stability in the entire region, rather than persisting without any basis in the narrative about the 'endangerment of Serbs and the injustice of the entire world towards them.' Such a narrative was also present in the 1990s, and we all know what it resulted in," they say from the Party of Democratic Action.

The SDA will never agree to Dodik's ultimatums. Instead of attempting to dominate and achieve his political goals through blackmail, Dodik must respect the Dayton Peace Agreement, the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and unblock state institutions. The crisis he has caused again will cause the most harm precisely to him and the entity of the RS.
