SDA and DF initiated the dismissal of Elmedin Konaković

(Patria) - An initiative for the reconstruction of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e., the dismissal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Konaković, was sent to the parliamentary procedure today.

The initiative was signed by 11 deputies from the Party of Democratic Action and the Democratic Front.

The explanation of the initiative, among other things, stated that irreparable damage has been done to Bosnia and Herzegovina on the international level due to Minister Konaković's connection with individuals from the drug cartel "Tito and Dino", as evidenced by correspondence from the Sky application and Europol agency schemes, it was announced from the SDA Deputies' Club in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The issue of Minister Konaković's participation in the illegal extension of the mandate of the acting agent of the Council of Ministers of BiH before the European Court of Human Rights, which enabled that person's activities in challenging the first-instance verdict in the "Kovačević" case, was also problematized.

One of the particularly important reasons for initiating the dismissal of Minister Konaković is the cancellation of the Summit in Neum in December 2024, which is a diplomatic scandal that has brought unprecedented shame to Bosnia and Herzegovina and its credibility and path to EU membership.

Furthermore, they find it controversial that Konaković disclosed certain information which he claimed to have obtained from intelligence agencies of other countries, accusing him of being in unauthorized and illegal contact.
