SDA: Vukoja's vote in favor of Dodik confirmed that the "Trojka" sold state interests in exchange for power

(Patria) - The information that Marin Vukoja was the only judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH who voted in favor of Milorad Dodik confirms that the "Trojka" traded the interests of the state and its future in exchange for power, according to an SDA statement.

"By handing over the position of a judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH to the HDZ for the next 20 years, despite warnings from the opposition, experts, and civil society, the "Trojka" consciously jeopardized the independence of an institution that should be a guarantor of the preservation of the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the same time, "Trojka" officials lied to the public that Vukoja was not connected to the HDZ, that he would act independently, and that by appointing him, in a situation where they could have chosen judges with integrity, judicial experience, and no political ties, they actually "unblocked the Constitutional Court of BiH".

The "Trojka" promised citizens justice, accountability, and protection of institutions, and delivered political bargaining, deception, and service to the interests of forces that openly deny the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina and undermine its institutions," the SDA stated.
