SDA: The RS entity cannot be deprived of what it does not have - and it does not have state property, it belongs to Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Patria) - The public in Bosnia and Herzegovina has become accustomed to Milorad Dodik giving contradictory statements within just a few days. Depending on the reactions, primarily from the opposition in the RS entity, Dodik changes his positions on a daily basis, the SDA announced.

"The latest example is his servile attitude towards the CIA director and the claim that he never planned secession, and just a day or two later, the claim that he will 'declare secession if someone touches the property and decides that it belongs to Bosnia and Herzegovina.'

As usual, Dodik manipulates and spreads untruths, ignoring the facts arising from the Constitution and the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. No one can take from the RS entity what that entity does not have – and it does not have property. That property belongs to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through a series of decisions - the latest of which was adopted this year - has clearly established that the RS entity 'has no constitutional authority to regulate the issue of immovable state property, because this, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the BiH Constitution, is within the exclusive competence of Bosnia and Herzegovina.'

Dodik knowingly deceives his own people that an entity can be turned into a state with property. At the same time, in an attempt to obtain money to patch holes in the budget, he also deceives investors who want to build in the RS entity.

All potential investors should bear in mind that according to the ruling of the BiH Constitutional Court, 'entities are not competent to dispose of state property in any way, including transfer of ownership, lease, concession, or temporary use.' Therefore, sooner or later, all investments attempted on state property will be annulled as illegal, the invested money will be lost, and those who enabled them, led by Milorad Dodik, will face criminal responsibility," the statement from the Party of Democratic Action reads.
