SDA, DF and Alliance for Change "base" of coalition at state level

SDA, DF and the Alliance for Change signed a document tonight in Sarajevo on forming a coalition at the state level, reports Patria's reporter. 

After the meeting, Mladen Bosić, leader of the SDS, said that they had found common ground and reached joint positions on what the priorities of the future government at the state level should be.

- Processes that have literally been stalled for eight years should be unblocked as soon as possible. I believe that today's signatures on these principles will move the situation in the country for the better, said Bosić.  

Željko Komšić said that the goal is primarily a change in the political paradigm and the constant political conflict, which should transition into political cooperation and agreements. 

-The goal of this is swift new measures and good news for BiH to show citizens that politics in BiH can be something completely different. The act we signed is not final; some other political parties are still needed, but these principles are open to all who wish to join us, said Komšić.  

Izetbegović emphasized that it was high time for a change in relations. 

-I am sure that a large number of citizens, i.e., voters, will support this, because all the principles are in their interest, and this is the cornerstone for future relations in BiH, emphasized Izetbegović.  

Mladen Ivanić stated that he hopes the HDZ should join this coalition because they primarily respect the legitimacy of the people, and the HDZ BiH received the support of the people.  

-I really see no reason why the HDZ would refuse this, noted Ivanić, adding that this composition already has a minimal majority of 22 representatives in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament. 

Izetbegović said that he has not spoken with Čović, and that he will do so either tonight or in the morning, and that this coalition is open to all parties. He also added that "this paper" had already been considered by Čović before and that he believes there will be nothing controversial for the leader of HDZ BiH.
