SDA Čapljina: Monument to criminal Praljak is an insult to Bosniaks, we call on authorities to react

(Patria) - The City Organization (GO) SDA Čapljina condemned the glorification of convicted war criminal Slobodan Praljak, to whom a monument was erected in that city these days.

Such actions, emphasize the GO SDA, undermine the achieved level of trust and coexistence among the citizens of Čapljina, and particularly offend Bosniaks who have endured the torture of camps, ethnic cleansing, and expulsion from their homes.

"We call on all relevant factors, both domestic and international, to condemn such phenomena and on the competent institutions to sanction such actions in accordance with the law, with the aim of preventing other attempts to glorify convicted war criminals, regardless of their national and religious affiliation.

And we call on our fellow citizens, especially the victims of the camps, not to fall for provocation and to show their dignity once again," stated the City Organization SDA Čapljina.
