SDA: Blinken's letter laid bare the servility and deceptions of the Troika, as well as the HDZ's policy of blockades

(Patria) - The letter of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to the ministers of foreign affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, regarding the blockade of the Southern Gas Interconnection project, has fully exposed all the deceptions that the leaders of the "Troika" have placed in the public, as well as the HDZ's policy of blockades, the Party of Democratic Action announced.

They add that the "Troika", by pursuing a servile policy towards the HDZ and SNSD, and by yielding to their demands, jeopardized the implementation of the strategic Southern Interconnection project.

At the same time, the "Troika", according to the SDA, constantly placed untruths in the public about a "good atmosphere" and "historic sessions", and engaged in a media showdown with the patriotic bloc of parties that pointed out the dangers of the moves made by the SDP, NIP, and Our Party.

"First, they deceived the public that the Council of Ministers had initiated the procedure for the construction of both the Eastern and Southern interconnections, only for it to turn out that they lied because such a decision for the Southern Interconnection was never made.

Then, under obvious pressure from the HDZ, they withdrew from the procedure in the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina the Law on the Southern Interconnection, proposed by the Novalić government and already adopted in the House of Representatives. Thus, they consciously 'multiplied the entire process by zero' and strengthened Dodik's and Čović's blockade mechanisms.

Despite the insistence of the SDA Caucus that the Law on the Southern Interconnection be returned to the parliamentary procedure and adopted in the same text, the servile and incompetent government of Nermin Nikšić has not done so to this day.

If, out of fear of the HDZ, they do not do so in the coming days, the SDA Caucus in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will do it," the SDA press release states.
