Schmidt spoke with Izetbegović, one of the topics was also the curriculum in the RS

(Patria) - High Representative Christian Schmidt today in Sarajevo exchanged views with the leader of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović on current political developments in our country.

Schmidt emphasized that it is the duty of all political actors to act responsibly and constructively towards common goals and the prosperity of the entire country on its path to Euro-Atlantic integration.

The High Representative shared the concern of the SDA president regarding recent media reports about the inclusion of convicted war criminals in the history curriculum in the RS without adequate explanation of their overall role and subsequent war crimes convictions.

"Education must help young generations to recognize the truth so that they can overcome the horrors of the past and turn towards a better future in the spirit of coexistence and common priorities," Schmidt stated.
