Schmidt visited the accident site and paid tribute to the victim Erdoan Morankić

(Patria) - The High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, visited the site of the tragic tram accident near the National Museum of BiH today.

Schmidt expressed deep respect for the young victim Erdoan Morankić, as well as for the injured girl Ella Jovanović.

"Since I was at the security conference in Munich from Thursday until today, I learned about this accident there. My first impulse this morning was to come here and pay tribute to Erdoan and wish Ella and all other participants of this accident a speedy recovery.

I am with those who mourn the deceased young man and others who suffered here, and that is what we are all striving for, which is to pay tribute," said Schmidt.

The High Representative laid flowers at the station near the National Museum on this occasion.
