Schmidt to announce conclusions from two-day PIC session today

(Patria) - High Representative Christian Schmidt will today hold a press conference at the "Mövenpick" Hotel in Sarajevo (Fra Filipa Lastrića 2 street) starting at 2:00 PM after the two-day session of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) Steering Board.

The session began yesterday in the BiH institutions building, and in addition to ambassadors from member countries, leaders of certain political parties that form the government, as well as the opposition from Republika Srpska, were invited to the meeting.

The meeting was attended by the presidents and representatives of SDP, NIP, Naša stranka, HDZ, as well as PDP, SDS, and Lista za pravdu i red. The topic of the first day of the session was the current political situation in BiH.

The opposition from FBiH was not invited to this meeting, despite having significant parliamentary capacity, nor was there a place for Milorad Dodik and SNSD following the attacks on the constitutional order.
