SBiH demands from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Presidency to cease all communication with Hungary due to open denial of the state and cooperation with the RS

(Patria) - The Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina considers the recent political contacts between representatives of Hungary and the smaller Bosnian entity RS unacceptable.

Such actions, SBiH points out, represent a violation of the constitutional order and undermine the sovereignty of our state.

"We consider it completely unacceptable for any entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina to participate in international activities that are not in line with state institutions.

SBiH clearly emphasizes that no one acting within Bosnian politics should maintain any contacts with Hungarian officials, as long as that state does not cease the practice of direct cooperation with the entity, bypassing state institutions," the SBiH statement reads.

In addition, it adds, the impression is created that we are increasingly showing less ability to lead and protect our own state.

The Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina demands from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina to immediately cease all communication with Hungary due to the open denial of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and cooperation with an entity that has no constitutional right to international relations.

"We call on the competent institutions, political actors, and international partners to consistently respect the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina and ensure the protection of its sovereignty.

We also consider the playing of the Serbian anthem on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which occurred at the University of Banja Luka in the presence of the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and despite the existence of a clear decision of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to be unacceptable, as it represents a direct disregard for the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a violation of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

The competent institutions are obliged to react to such behavior," they stated from the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
