SBiH losing members: Omer Vatrić moved to SDP, several politicians left the party

Omer Vatrić, head of the parliamentary group of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has left his party and moved to SDP, the Patria news agency has learned.

Vatrić has reportedly already appeared on SDP's candidate lists, but Vatrić could not confirm this information for now.

- It is true that I have resigned from SBiH, as well as almost the entire cantonal leadership in Sarajevo. Simply put, the space for action for people within the party has been reduced, and it is no longer the concept advocated by Haris Silajdžić, the party's founder - said Vatrić, adding that he does not yet know if he is on the SDP lists.

Beriz Belkić, an SBiH representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, has also heard such information, but did not want to talk much about the departure of cadres within SBiH.

- I have heard everything you have, but I cannot confirm anything with certainty - said Belkić.

The membership expressed dissatisfaction with the work in the party by simply leaving the party. Vatrić, on the other hand, believes that the situation would have been different if Haris Silajdžić had returned to lead the party, which was discussed and requested by the membership.

- If Silajdžić had returned, everything would have been different; otherwise, it is difficult to expect anything more from what is left. It's not the same anymore - added Vatrić.
