The Sarajevo Canton Assembly today appointed five new ministers in the KS Government, which went to SBB as the new coalition partner of SDA, writes the Patria News Agency.
SBB was allocated five ministries in the Cantonal government.
The Ministry of Health will be led by Zilha Ademaj, the new Minister of Internal Affairs is Ismir Jusko, Mario Nenadić will head the Ministry of Justice and Administration, Mirvad Kurić will lead the Ministry of Culture and Sports, while the Minister for Labour, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees will be Amela Dautbegović.
21 deputies voted for the appointment, one against, while six deputies abstained.
Elmedin Konaković, Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton, said today, addressing the deputies at an emergency session of the KS Assembly, that working on the document dismissing the DF ministers was one of the hardest documents he had worked on.
- It was necessary to find a way to write it within the law, without offending people who did not act unconstitutionally or illegally and who were not unworthy of their functions - said Konaković, adding that the DF ministers are capable and honest, and were dismissed due to the new coalition.
Former Minister of Culture and Sports Samer Rešidat, addressing the deputies, emphasized that the DF ministers performed their duties honorably and wished the newly elected ministers luck.
- I will note that this Government never made decisions by outvoting, and I hope it will be the same in the new convocation – said Rešidat.
