SBB withdraws from government formation negotiations in Tuzla Canton

TUZLA, (Patria) - The Alliance for a Better Future (SBB) has withdrawn from the Coalition of 19, meaning that the SDP BiH currently does not have a secured majority of 19 votes in the Assembly of Tuzla Canton. Separate meetings regarding the formation of the government were held today at the premises of the SDP TK. The first meeting was held between representatives of the SDP, Our Party and the SBB, while members of the Democratic Front (DF) and the Party for BiH appeared at the second.

The President of the SDP BiH TK, Enver Bijedić, said that Our Party, the DF and the Party for BiH remained in the negotiations, but one more vote is needed for the assembly majority. 

The SDP will offer all representatives in the TK Assembly a program and work plan of the Government for the upcoming mandate period, based on the guidelines previously established, and in this way try to gain the support of another representative for a minority government.   

"We hope that this plan will be supported by the representatives, because it guarantees a good work of the TK Government in its future composition," said Bijedić, emphasizing that there will be no negotiations with the SDA.
