SBB to Reveal Its Candidate for the BiH Presidency Early Next Week

BiH, (Patria) - Almost all candidates for the BiH Presidency in the upcoming October elections are known, while the Alliance for a Better Future will announce the name of its candidate early next week. It is most likely that it will be SBB president Fahrudin Radončić, for whom this will be the third candidacy.

The largest number of candidates will compete for the member of the Presidency from the Bosniak people, and so far seven are in the race. Šefik Džaferović (SDA), Denis Bećirović (SDP BiH), Mirsad Hadžikadić (independent candidate), Senad Šepić (Independent Bloc), Sefer or Semir Halilović (BPS) and Amer Jerlagić (SBiH).

From the Croatian people, five candidates are vying for the Presidency, including one woman. Our Party nominated Boriša Falatar, and HDZ 1990 nominated Diana Zelenika. Željko Komšić announced his candidacy earlier this year, while the current member of the BiH Presidency and president of HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović, did so this week.

Earlier, Jerko Ivanković Lijanović also announced his candidacy on behalf of the People's Party Work for Betterment.

For the member of the BiH Presidency from the Serbian people, there are only two candidates: Mladen Ivanić on behalf of the Alliance for Change and Milorad Dodik, president of SNSD.
