Saudi Charity Organization Allocates 248,000 BAM for Free Iftars

The International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) of the Muslim World League (MWL) from Saudi Arabia has allocated 6,450,000 Saudi riyals, approximately 248,000 BAM, for the implementation of a project of free iftars during the month of Ramadan, the holy month of Muslims which begins on June 28, reports the Saudi news agency, as carried by Patria.

The project is planned in 29 countries in Asia, Africa and Europe for vulnerable families with weaker financial status.

This was announced by the Secretary General of IIRO, Ihsan bin Saleh Tayeb, highlighting the beneficiary countries. Free iftars will be distributed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Turkey, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Yemen, Pakistan, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Indonesia, and African countries such as Egypt, Sudan, Chad and others, reports Patria.
